Merry Christmas from Colstrip,Montana

We went to church with Jake's family today, Adeline wore the Christmas dress from Grams and Gramps. One Happy little family! While in Colstrip, Adeline met her new best friend Sophia! Sophie is Janalee's roomate who stayed here with us. She is from Brazil! I wish we could take her home with us, Adeline just adored her!

Adeline in her new Christmas dress

Adeline and her Grams!

Here I am looking marvelous in my many layers to keep me warm! I only got stuck once this time!

Oh the weather outside is frightful!

Jake seemed to think it was funny to tackle me every time he got a chance! here we are two snow angels in love!

Josh tied up a car hood to the side by side, and had us flying and holding on for dear life! Aren't we a bunch of red necks! It was so much fun though!

Although Addie says Josh's name all the time, she still was kind of scared of the guy...maybe it is because he looks like Grizzly Adams with all his facial hair! This was the only time she let him hold her!

We had our little Christmas a week early, and here Adeline is opening her present from Oma Lindy and Opa Galen! She LOVES books!

Here she is on her new kawasaki four wheeler!

Merry Christmas everyone!
Yesterday we celebrated our Christmas as a family. We are heading out to Colstrip on Christmas day to see Jake's family. We wanted Adeline to be able to actually play with her toys before we head out! She got a pink Kawasaki four wheeler, and she LOVED it! We had a really great christmas and read the Christmas story out of our SUPER old German bible and wrote our little letters to Jesus, then sang Silent Night. It was so fun to watch Adeline's face as she opened her presents and see her eyes just pop with excitement! We are really looking forward to actually be with some family, since we have been married we haven't been able to do that with any holiday! Hopefully the roads will be nice, so we can make it there in decent time!! We love you all, and wish you and yours a very happy holiday!
Love,
The Clarks

First REAL snow fall of 2008

Adeline has such a sweet tooth, Halloween really messed her up! After her lunch, I give her a piece of candy. She loves suckers, this one was especially sour!

As soon as we had enough snow accumulated, we headed outside! Addie loved it when we were pushing and pulling her around! She could have done it all day

Before Adeline goes down for the night, we read her a couple of books. We are thrilled that she loves books! I just thought this was a cute picture. With Jake working full time now, he doesn't really get to spend a whole lot of one on one time with his little dude! So, this melted my heart to see him read to her!

BUBBLES EVERYWHERE!

Adeline absolutely LOVES her baths! As soon as she hears the water running in the bathroom, she comes runnin'--even if it's one of us just taking a quick shower! She will throw such a fit, that we usually just let her join us! She has snuck in when Jake was taking a shower in her clothes before! What a goof!

Fridge art

Now that Adeline is in nursery, she gets to do all sorts of fun stuff! Lucky! A couple of Sundays ago, I got my first colored picture that she colored in nursery! I loved it so much that it is now happily displayed on our fridge door! Being a mom is grand!

Youth Temple Trip

This was my first time going through the Bismarck temple and going with the youth! We only had 3 girls, so we just drove up together and had a blast! From left to right: Myself (obvisously!), Maiah, Andrea, and Ashley

What a beautiful day, and what a beautiful temple! Definitely worth the trip!

Trunk or Treat!

One of the games we did, was the "Yucky Stuff"! We had some spaghetti noodles, and tapioca in covered dishes and the kids had to stick their hands in and try not to gag while trying to figure out what the heck is in them!!!

Here are some of our crazy girls! They are a riot!

Addie loves Heather, she is the Beehive advisor!

Happy Halloween!

We went trick or treating first at the Alerus center, where the businesses in town decorate their own little area and hand out candy and hand outs of all sorts! Adeline couldn't wait to see what goodies she got!

Adeline got a lot of cheers for dressing up as a Vikings Cheerleader! Everyone here LOVES the Vikings, too bad they're not playing very well this season!!

Dad just got off work, and we headed out! He had to go show Addie off to everyone at work!

We had our ward (church) trunk or treat on Wed. The youth were in charge of the games. I was supposed to be Pippy long stocking, but most people thought I was the "Wendy's" girl. Oh well!

Here is Addie and her little buddy from church Maggie!

The Newest Kidd Arrival

Congrats to my brother Dan and his wife Katie! They welcomed Adrianna this last Thursday and is absolutely beautiful!

Happy Fall!

So Kirsten told me I need to update my blog! Quite a bit has gone on in our small family, I suppose. Jake is now working full time at Menards (which is like a Home Depot) while we wait for his career to take off! He likes it there, and he makes a lot more than he was at the hotel. He is in the plumbing department, and no--he doesn't know anything about plumbing! I'm sure he will catch on! We are getting for Young Womens in Excellence, I am the lucky one who is in charge of it all this year--yay..... Yesterday I was able to attend my first youth temple trip with our youth. I have been in young womens for almost 2 years, and I have never been able to go in the past. It was definitely a whole day ordeal, as it takes 4 hours to drive there and another 4 to drive back! We only had 3 girls go, so we all just drove up together. It was a blast! I have never sang so many disney songs in one sitting in my whole life! At some points, the car was literally shaking from the girls just rocking out! Of course I started to cry when the baptisms started, I am such a big cry baby! I am just so proud of my girls!
It was hard to leave Addie for that long, I think the longest I have ever been apart from her was like 4 hours--if that!!
We woke up yesterday with snow and crazy wind! I am wondering where did fall go, did we even get one? Other than the leaves turning colors, we haven't gotten much of a fall. That my friends, is North Dakota for you!
We are looking forward to Halloween! We have the ward trunk or treat this coming Wednesday, and I can't wait to show Addie off in her little Vikings cheer leading outfit! Jake's dad will die when he sees the pictures! He is a big vikings fan!
Addie is growing taller, but not wider! She isn't our chubbly little girl anymore! I can't believe how big she is, she is now a little girl with her own personality. I just love her to death. She turned 18 months today, and surprises everyone when they find out she isn't older! She is so tall and very verbal!!! I posted her talking and saying some animal noises! She has been in nursery for about 3 weeks, they let her come in early! She does so well in there, and couldn't care less if she ever saw me again!!!
Well, I think that about covers the last couple of months!!!
We wish you all a happy fall--or maybe happy winter for us!

We are Baaack!

We have made it back to the upper mid-west! We had a blast but are always relieved to get home and relax! Jake got his diploma finally, now it has really hit him! It's cool to see that he got a special stamp on his diploma for graduating in the top 2nd in his class! I am so freakin proud of him! Adeline is also happy to be home, she has been in a great mood ever since arriving home! She has been super affectionate and cuddly (can you believe that!?) we are NOT complaining about that at all!
She is so stinkin cute, and I love being her mom! I also love being married to Jake, he is just too awesome!

New Clark grandson

On July 25, Caleb Clark was born. The proud Parents: Jeff and Tifani Clark . Proud big brothers: Aiden and Bryson

Jacey (Jessica's daughter) and I just cheesin' it up at dad's clinic!
Someone has a new love.........Fourwheeling. And I mean Adeline has a new love!
Colstrip has a little spray park/ pool where Adeline and Jacey had a blast. While we were there, Jacey asked if we could pretend that Addie was her baby sister! How cute is that?!!
While Jake was out with the boys, Adeline and I went to Castle Rock lake.....it's about 5 minutes away if that
Here we are at Castle Rock

The Joys and the Pain!

We are now in good ol' Rexburg, Idaho! Today we ventured out to the sand dunes to try out the new four wheelers, what a blast! Joining us in this Clark get together is: Mom and dad, Jefferey and his family, Jessica and her daughter jacey, Janalee, Jillaine, us (of course!), Jordan and Josh. We cannot get over how much Adeline LOVES fourwheeling! She would get so mad when we came back and take her off--she wanted more! Jake's parents are thinking about buying some property over here somewhere, so we got to drive around and look at some houses. It makes me excited to think that someday we will get to do that! It's been surreal being back here in Rexburg, our old stomping ground, the place Jake and I met and fell in love. The day before we left to come here, jake's dad rolled his four wheeler and got thrown. He came home looking like a war hero, and of course we couldn't get him to go to the doctor. Lets hope it's nothing serious! Here are some pictures of our trip thus far starting in Colstrip, Montana:
