Potty Training 101

Hello,
I thought I'd give everyone an update on the happenings around the Clark household, since you are all just dying to know! Yes, our lives ARE that exciting! Just kidding! Something exciting is happening though! However, at some moments for me it's not quite exciting! We are on our 1st real day of full on potty training our little pumpkin! We've had a potty chair sitting in our bathroom for quite some time now and Adeline would sit on it once in a while and do some business, but that was the extent of it. We got to the point where we were running out of diapers, and I was contemplating whether I should go buy a new pack or just potty train the dang kid! So I opted for the latter! I have read and been told that the ideal age to potty train is between 24-28 months, as they are more apt to want to do it and stick with it. So, it has actually been going really well. My friend from church gave me a little packet that she used that swears they can help you completely potty train in 3 days! What a miracle if we can do that! She has been in little girl undies for 3 days...no diapers! We have had a few accidents, which surprised me! I thought we'd have way more! Its so fun to get excited with her when she comes and tells me she has to go "poo poo" and we run to the toilet and she does her business! We all get so excited afterwards! It's fun and sad at the same time! My little girl is turning into a big girl! Thank you to everyone who has offered advice and their opinions.....always helpful to a mom who sometimes has no clue what she's doing!!!

Bad grass

Yesterday Jake and Johnny Eldredge went fishing near Thompson, ND. This was the beautiful Pike he caught on his very first cast! This is his biggest fish thus far caught in North Dakota!

Our most recent fishing expedition

We had caught quite a few bass, but then out of the blue--comes a little itty bitty catfish!!
Although many viewers may say that these fish we caught were teeny tiny, we thought they were huge compared to the fish we have caught at Turtle River! We just don't have good luck when it comes to fishing here in North Dakota! We miss our trout from the Snake River in Idaho!
